We mean it.
If you grow it, raise it, or make it — and it's good — we want you at the table. Read the rules, fill out the form, we'll be in touch within a week.

How we run a Saturday.
Booth standards.
- Tents: every canopy needs wrapped, weighted poles. Lake wind is real.
- Tables: every table needs a cover — a dressed table is the house standard.
- Stay the day: vendors sell the full market, open to close (10 AM – 4 PM). No early pack-downs — the 3 PM shopper deserves a full market too.
- Placement: booth locations are assigned by the market manager. We do our best to honor requests, but final placement is the manager's call.
Rain or shine.
- The market runs rain or shine. By accepting a date, you're agreeing to show up in both.
- Booth fees are non-refundable — including for weather.
- Can't make your date? Life happens — call or email the market manager as soon as you know, and we'll work with you.
- No-call, no-show: skipping a market without a word leaves an empty booth shoppers were promised. It puts your future dates at risk.
Your responsibilities as a vendor.
Vendor compliance is your responsibility. Each vendor at Cortland Farmers Market is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licenses, permits, and registrations required by Ohio law for the products they sell, where applicable, for collecting and remitting any applicable sales tax (Trumbull County combined rate: 6.75%), and for proper product labeling. Liability insurance is required for food-truck vendors, recommended for food and consumables vendors, and optional (but encouraged) for low-risk makers. Proof of any required licensing and insurance must be on file with the market and produced on request. Vendors without complete, current documentation will not be permitted to sell.
Sales tax: Some items sold at Cortland Farmers Market are subject to Ohio sales tax (6.75% in Trumbull County). Most food sold for off-premises consumption is tax-exempt. Tax handling is the responsibility of each individual vendor.
Tell us what you make.
Five minutes, plus a couple of photos by email. We read every word.
Every vendor at this market grew, raised, or made what they sell. That's the whole point.
